Information Governance Administrator - Immediate start!
Location: Canterbury/Hybrid
Salary: £28,500 to £30,500
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Are you detail‑driven, highly organised, and confident handling sensitive information? We're looking for an Information Governance (IG) Administrator to join our clients team and play a key role in ensuring robust data protection and compliance across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Subject Access Requests (SARs) or wider IG administration-particularly within a regulated or healthcare environment-who thrives in a structured, process‑led role.
✨ Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support and strengthen our clients Information Governance function by:
Managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) end‑to‑end, including logging, tracking, coordinating internal responses, and supporting disclosure.
Supporting wider IG administrative activity, such as handling data subject requests, maintaining IG logs, and general compliance tasks.
Liaising with internal teams-including clinical, operational, and data teams-to gather information and ensure requests are processed efficiently.
Assisting with redaction, preparing disclosure packs, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Maintaining trackers, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring statutory timeframes are consistently met.
Helping bring structure and consistency to IG processes, including maintaining logs, preparing agendas and meeting papers, minute taking, and tracking actions.
✅ About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
Experience handling SARs and/or IG administration in a regulated environment (healthcare experience highly desirable).
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple time‑bound cases.
Confidence working across teams and managing sensitive or confidential information.
Ideally, practical experience with redaction, data handling processes, or information governance frameworks.
A proactive, process‑focused mindset, with the ability to bring order and consistency to complex workflows.
